Royals 6, Palms 5

For the second time in this series, the Royals came through with a 9th inning walk-off hit. The game was a pitchers duel through 7, with the score 3-0 when the starters were removed. Gil Meche held the Palms to 3 hits, while Troy Munoz allowed a pair of solo homers, but was otherwise dominant as well. The bullpen for each team let the game get away. Each team scored two in the 8th, to make it 5-2. The Palms then rallied for three in the top of the 9th, including a 2 run shot from Eddie Black. Coco Crisp drove Ryan Henning in for the tying run with two outs. In the bottom half of the inning, however, the Royals got a game winning double with two outs from Jose Guillen, his second game winner of the series.
