Rockies 6, Palms 2

Miami failed to complete the sweep, though after a lead off home run from Yairo Munoz it seemed as they would. Colorado came back swiftly, scoring 2 in the top of the 2nd, including the first of two home runs from Daniel Murphy. The Rockies also collected 3 triples (including one from Murphy) and were able to leverage their extra base hits into a victory, while the Palms couldn't bring anyone home, settling for singles and stranded baserunners. Palms 5, Rockies 0

Miami was clearly in control for a lot of the game, knocking out Antonio Senzatela through 5 innings, but they only had a 1-0 lead through 6 innings. Reliever Chad Bettis allowed the game to get blown open by walking the bases loaded, only to have every single one of those walks score, thanks first to a double from Chris Korb, which scored 2, and a single from Pat Grant and a fielders choice from Jaspero Gonzales.  Miami Palms 5, Colorado Rockies 0  Saturday, July 20, 2019      Colorado Rockies (3-2)                                   Miami Palms (50-51)                                       Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H B...

Palms 13, Rockies 2

Miami featured a lefty heavy lineup, but that didn't much matter, even as they faced lefty Kyle Freeland. They scored 11 times in the first inning, with Chris Korb hitting a 2 run double with the bases loaded, and a grand slam, both in the first inning. There wasn't much to the game after that point, with each team scratching a run or two across the plate, but nothing that influenced the final.   Miami Palms 13, Colorado Rockies 2  Friday, July 19, 2019      Colorado Rockies (3-1)                                   Miami Palms (49-51)                                       Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P...

Royals 2, Palms 1

The beginning of an important home stand against three beatable teams has started by dropping a 4 game set to the Royals. Brad Keller had a good game, working 7 innings and allowing 5 hits and striking out 5. The Royals two runs came from back to back homers by Cheslor Cuthbert and Hunter Dozier, while Miami paired doubles from Chris Korb and Pat Grant to get on the board. The game wasn't as close as the final score made it seem, as Erick Fedde needed three double plays to wiggle out of jams.   Kansas City Royals 2, Miami Palms 1  Thursday, July 18, 2019      Kansas City Royals (3-1)                                 Miami Palms (48-51)                                       Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB  ...

Royals 7, Palms 3

Kansas City leveraged some big swings to score most of their runs on Wednesday evening. Lucas Duda hit two home runs, driving in 3, while Jorge Soler hit a 2 run shot and Nicky Lopez and Alex Gordon added solo home runs. Miami tried to keep pace with a couple of solo shots of their own, but not enough of their hits left the park, allowing Kansas City a fairly comfortable victory.   Kansas City Royals 7, Miami Palms 3  Wednesday, July 17, 2019      Kansas City Royals (2-1)                                 Miami Palms (48-50)                                       Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E...

Palms 10, Royals 3

Miami' s offense unleashed torrents on the Kansas City Royals. They had 17 hits, which included a pair of home runs and a whopping 3 triples. They were able to score 10 times, and the pitching ensured that Manny Parra didn't have to over exert, and the bullpen was allowed to rest, and only have an easy 9th after Parra worked 8.   Miami Palms 10, Kansas City Royals 3  Tuesday, July 16, 2019      Kansas City Royals (1-1)                                 Miami Palms (48-49)                                       Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave        -...
