Yankees 9, Palms 2

5 home runs were hit in this game, including the Yankees' 3 and the Palms' 2. All five were off the starter, but James Paxton limited his shots to solo bombs from Frank Sohn and Edwin Encarnacion, while the Brett Gardener and Aaron Hicks hit three run blasts each off of Dylan Bundy. It was a short night for Bundy, and a rough way to start the series with the Bombers.   New York Yankees 9, Miami Palms 2  Friday, June 28, 2019      New York Yankees (6-4)                                   Miami Palms (39-44)                                       Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB  ...

Tigers 7, Palms 3

The Tigers were able salvage the final game of their series with Miami thanks to some long ball against Manny Parra. The Tigers hit three home runs, including a pair of 2 run homers from Brendan Dixon and Bobby Wilson in the 2nd inning and a solo shot from Miguel Cabrera an inning later. Travis Jankowski hit a home run and a triple, but the offense was not enough. The Palms will return to Miami for a quick set with the Yankees.  Detroit Tigers 7, Miami Palms 3  Thursday, June 27, 2019      Miami Palms (39-43)                                      Detroit Tigers (1-2)                                      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player        ...

Palms 10, Tigers 1

Miami got to flex their muscles even further on Wednesday night. Already having knocked starter Matthew Boyd out and claiming a 4-1 lead through 6, the Palms were very rough on reliver Victor Alcantara. Alcantara struck out Pat Grant, but then allowed two hits, two walks and a run, loading the bases for Yairo Munoz. Munoz didn't miss, clearing the center field fence and bringing the lead to 8. The Palms loaded the bases again, but fortunately for Alcantara, he was pulled, and the Palms only managed one more run in the frame, and coasted comfortably to victory.  Miami Palms 10, Detroit Tigers 1  Wednesday, June 26, 2019      Miami Palms (39-42)                                      Detroit Tigers (0-2)                                      Player      ...

Palms 6, Tigers 3

Miami went to Detroit and the Palms brought their bats. They loaded the bases and brought three runs home in the 2nd. They were able to extend their lead with a pair of home runs in the 5rh, from Yairo Munoz and team leader Edwin Encarnacion. The Palms would need those runs, with Detroit rallying a bit on the bull pen, and bringing the game to within 3. Chrus Martin had a 2 out save to finish the game in the left hand column.  Miami Palms 6, Detroit Tigers 3  Tuesday, June 25, 2019      Miami Palms (38-42)                                      Detroit Tigers (0-1)                                      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          ...

Twins 2, Palms 1

The Palms were more effective at the plate, it seemed, collecting 8 hits to the Twins' 6. Erick Fedde allowed 4 walks, but none of those came across either. Instead, it was solo home runs from Eddie Rosario and Jake Cave that led Minnesota to surpass Miami and split the series in Minneapolis.   Minnesota Twins 2, Miami Palms 1  Sunday, June 23, 2019      Miami Palms (37-42)                                      Minnesota Twins (3-5)                                     Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave        ------          --...

Twins 11, Palms 8

The big bats were out on Saturday afternoon, and the baseball had a tough time staying in the ballpark. The Palms went ahead twice in this game, first with a three run Nick Markakis homer in the 3rd, but the Twins batted around in the bottom of the frame to retake the lead. Miami was down three when they overtook the Twins again, this time on a Chris Korb 7th inning grand slam. The Twins had 4 more runs in them in the 8th inning, first with a 2 run CJ Cron single, and finally, a 2 run blast from Nelson Cruz.   Minnesota Twins 11, Miami Palms 8  Saturday, June 22, 2019      Miami Palms (37-41)                                      Minnesota Twins (2-5)                                     Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A...

Palms 7, Twins 2

A seemingly clutch Jorge Polanco home run was wasted for the Twins, as, after Minnesota tied the score in the 4th, the Palms ran away with the game. Nick Markakis had a two run hit in the 5th, and the Palms throttled Ryne Harper in the top of the ninth to make sure the game was out of hand, and Miami could hold on for the win.    Miami Palms 7, Minnesota Twins 2  Friday, June 21, 2019      Miami Palms (37-40)                                      Minnesota Twins (1-5)                                     Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave      Player          AB R  H BI BB SO  P  A  E LOB   Ave        ------...
