The Palms bullpen blew the chance at a double header sweep. The Palms jumped to an early 4-0 lead, with Billy Dupont hitting a three run homer off Justin Verlander. With the score 5-2 in the 8th, Felix Gonsales was in for his second inning of work, and his third inning of the game. Ramon Santiago hit a bases clearing double to tie the game. Dennis Sarfate came in in the ninth, with Miguel Cabrera hitting the eventual game winner, a double that scored Placido Polanco.
