Palms 8, Red Sox 7 (10 innings)

The Palms came through again with a big inning, this time in the 3rd, sending 10 to the plate and scoring 5 runs, with Troy Tulowitzki getting the big hit, a bases loaded double. The Palms got a scare when Javier Vazquez had to leave the game in the 5th after feeling a twinge after retiring Red Sox shortstop Nick Green. An ensemble of Palms pitchers ended up allowing the Sox to get back into the game, with Buddy Carlyle eventually blowing the save. In the top of the 10th, Ryan Henning launched a 1-0 fastball over the centerfield fence for his 10th homer of the year, and his 4th against the Red Sox. Blake Johnston came in in the bottom of the inning to earn his first career save.
