Palms 4, Royals 2
The Palms were certainly the more capable offensive team in Kansas City Friday night, but Kansas City was more efficient in the first 8 innings. The Royals scored their runs thanks to a first inning triple from David Dejesus and a 5th inning homer from Billy Butler. The Palms, on the other hand, saw many missed opportunities against Sidney Ponson and the rest of the Royals staff. A bases loaded single from Troy Tulowitzki saw the game tied as the game entered the 9th. Four hits led to two runs, as the Palms won the game late.
