Mariners 6, Palms 0
Mariners pitcher Ryan Rowland-Smith wasn't a particularly dominant force for the M's Sunday afternoon, but he wriggled out of all the jams he faced. The Palms got 8 hits and took 6 walks, but all those runners were left on base. Billy Dupont in an 0-5 outing came up every time with 2 outs, leaving an incredible 8 runners on base. In the 6th, already down 5-0, Ryan Henning launched a pitch into the upper deck down the right field line. Unfortunately, this was just a long strike. (The upper bleachers don't exist in fair territory in right field at Palms Park) He ended up with a single. This was Troy Munoz' first loss since June.
