Palms 6, Tigers 1
A problem at Palms Park developed last night as a stroke of lightning hit one of the light towers in right field, shorting the circuit and causing last night's game to be postponed, bringing about a Sunday double-header. The delayed return of Frank Sohn was impressive for a few players. Manny Parra pitched 6 shut out innings, while Ayoz Sadan crushed an opposite field three run homer in the 1st. Sohn himself followed Sadan with an upper deck shot to left center field as Miami took the first game of the twin-bill.
