Tigers 12, Palms 1
New Tigers acquisition and persistent thorn in the side of the Palms Aubrey Huff was at it again. He hit a three run homer off of Javier Vazquez in the Tigers' 5 run third and went 4-5 with 4RBI through the game. The Tigers got 6 more in the 5th, with a three run double from Carlos Guillen and a two run blast from Brandon Inge. Rick Porcello's masterful pitching outing was mostly an afterthought given the explosive offense.
