The party finally ended for Miami on Wednesday in Detroit. The Palms were held to 16 fewer runs than they scored on Tuesday. Danny Worth for the Tigers had a good day, going 4-4, but it was Miguel Cabrera that had the big shot, a three run homer in a 5 run 2nd. Eddie Black reclaimed the team lead in homers, and Jaspero Gonzalez had his third blast of the series after not hitting a single home run through June.
