Palms 7, Tigers 4
The Palms were welcomed home with a win to put the team two games over .500. A couple of benchmarks were reached, with Javier Vazquez becoming the first Palm to 10 wins and Buddy Carlyle stepped in in the 9th to pick up his 20th save. The team hit 4 home runs, including a stretch of back to back to back homers from the unlikely trio of Coco Crisp, Omir Santos and Randy Winn in the 4th. Winn also was a single away from hitting for the cycle in a game that Miami held from the outset. Billy Dupont had the biggest hit of the day, a three run homer in the 3rd.
