The Palms earned the series split in a slugfest with Oakland. Neither starter, Troy Munoz nor Vin Mazzaro were particularly effective, with the Palms batting around twice in the first 5 innings, and Munoz getting chased after three innings. Jaspero Gonzalez hit a two run homer in his first at bat, and Felix Gonsales poached his 10th win. Frank Sohn drove in 3.
