Rays 7, Palms 5

Looking to put together another strong start after the performances by Dave Balierough and Dallas Chastanet the previous two outings, especially after his last outing, Troy Munoz failed. The Rays batted around against the Palms ace in the first game of the cross state rivalry, scoring 6 runs on 6 hits, including a three run blast from Dioner Navarro. The Palms bullpen was quite effective, however, and the Rays only added one more after that 1st inning. Still, the damage was done, and the Palms were unable to recover, despite Martin Prado hitting his first two home runs of the season from his new spot at the bottom of the order.
