Palms 5, Rays 0

After an excellent outing on Tuesday, the Palms bullpen was given the day off on Wednesday. Javier Vazquez came through with what was clearly the best outing of the season for a Miami pitcher, completely dominating the Rays in Tampa. Vazquez allowed only 4 hits and got 11 strikeouts as he shut down the potent Ray offense. Jaspero Gonzalez hit a bases clearing double for the Palms first three runs in the third, and Billy Dupont added 2 more runs with a solo homer and an RBI double later in the 4th and 8th, respectively.
