A's 6, Palms 3
The Palms could not execute the sweep of the Oakland A's and saw their 4 game winning streak ended. Troy Munoz had another shaky outing, but made it through 5 innings, better than he has been of late. The A's' Dallas Braden held the Palms scoreless through 7 before they were able to string some hits together. Munoz's primary issue was with control, often falling behind hitters. He gave up 8 hits as well, including a first inning home run to Ryan Sweeney. The Palms offense, on the other hand, left the bases loaded 4 times.
