White Sox 11, Palms 2

Things unraveled for the Palms in the 4th inning. Already down 1-0, the White Sox saw the first 8 hitters reach. After the first 7 hitters reached safely, Dave Balierough was pulled and Blake Johnston immediately gave up a three run homer to Paul Konerko. All told, 9 runs scored in the 4th, and the hole was simply too big to climb out of. Jim Thome also managed three RBI and a home run over the course of the game for the Sox.
