Palms 3, Royals 2

Randy Winn and Martin Prado came back from their appearance in the All-Star game and made an immediate impact, proving their value once again with the team. Dallas Chastanet pitched himself out of a few jams, allowing just two runs when new Royal Yuniesky Betancourt hit a double. Winn drove in the first run with a solo blast in the 4th. Still, the game was tied in the 9th with two outs. With Coco Crisp on 2nd and Ryan Henning on 1st, Prado slapped a single to right, with Crisp rounding the bases to score the winning run. The Palms are now 1-0 since the break!
