Palms 5, Royals 1

The Palms secured a series sweep of the Royals with a game that featured a few oddities. The first was Coco Crisp who went 4-4 with three infield singles. Somehow, he was unable to score. Frank Sohn started the game with three strikeouts, then, in the 8th inning, came through with a two run blast. Because of that homer, Art McLoughlin stayed in an extra inning to pick up his first save of the year, the first by anyone not named Buddy Carlyle. The winner of the game was Dennis Sarfate, only his second win with the Palms. The star of the game, though, was Billy Dupont who went three quarters of the way to the cycle. The only hit he didn't get was the single.
