Palms 9, Rangers 4

Last year, the Palms and Rangers played a contentious late season series, that saw suspensions for former Palms Rich Fischer and Cole Abernathy. It all started after Abernathy was hit following a Ryan Henning homer, then Henning was hit again by Vicente Padilla in his next at bat. Benches cleared after Fischer threw a retaliatory pitch.. Most of the players involved aren't even members of either squad now, save for Henning. Both teams were able to get double digit hits, the Rangers 15 and the Palms 12. Curiously, after stringing 8 hits in a row in the 7 run 3rd, they didn't get another hit until there were 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th. With no beanballs, this season's struggle with the Rangers looks to be more level headed.
