Palms 3, Angels 2

The Palms got an excellent pitching performance from veteran starter Javier Vazquez in a sloppy, rain filled game in Miami Sunday afternoon. The pitcher held the Angels scoreless through 6, but in the 7th, he gave up a pair of solo homers to Kendry Morales and Juan Rivera, and the Angels went ahead 2-1. In the 8th inning, however, the Palms loaded the bases for Billy Dupont, who subsequently hit a double to put the Palms ahead for good and giving Dennis Sarfate the unlikely title of team wins leader. Coco Crisp got the team's first triple of the season.
