Mariners 5, Palms 4

The Mariners won a back and forth, heartbreaking game to open the series in Miami. The Palms jumped ahead 1-0 on a bases loaded walk, with the Mariners coming back in the 5th. In the bottom of the 5th, Ryan Henning hit a solo blast, his second in as many games, while the Mariners got a solo homer from Rob Johnson the following inning. The real break came in the 9th, when the Palms elected to keep starter Dallas Chastanet in. He promptly allowed three runs before he was pulled in favor of Felix Gonsales. With two outs in the bottom of the inning, the Palms made a run, with Jaspero Gonzalez hitting a two run blast, then had 2 runners on when Frank Sohn hit a lazy fly to center to end the game.
