Orioles 1, Palms 0

The Orioles completed the sweep in a series that the Palms simply needed to win. Jeremy Guthrie, like Kevin Millwood Saturday night, shut the Palms down, allowing only 5 hits and one runner to third. For the Palms, Troy Munoz was also dealing, striking out 11 in his 8 1/3. Of course, it was in the 9th inning when things went awry. Adam Jones hit a single, the third Oriole hit of the inning, to drive in Corey Patterson for the second walk off win for the Orioles in a row.
