Blue Jays 7, Palms 6

The Palms dropped the series finale and the chance to get the 6 game sweep against their division foes from Canada. The Jays were ahead 5-3 going into the bottom of the 8th, but the Palms were able to pull it to within 1 when Frank Sohn hit a two run double. With Buddy Carlyle on the mound looking for a save in the 9th, the Jays had no problem with base hits. A Jose Bautista double and a Vernon Wells sacrifice fly led to the go ahead runs. At least the game only lasted the allotted 9. The Palms head to Baltimore tonight.
