Palms 8, Phillies 3

The Palms took the series against the NL Champs of the past two seasons by spraying 14 hits to all fields against Phillies pitcher Joe Blanton. Javier Vazquez wasn't great, but he did an excellent job pitching out of most jams. He struggled in the 2nd, allowing two runs, but the Palms batted around in the 4th, scoring 4, including a 2 run double from Frank Sohn. The Palms will conclude their Interleague schedule starting tonight with a series against Washington.
