While the offenses were held in check compared to yesterday, there were still 24 hits between the two teams. The Brewers got two homers in the third which really spelled the difference. Rickey Weeks had a 2 run blast, and Ryan Braun followed two batters later with a solo homer. The lineup was rather piecemeal, with several players getting a day off, though both Eddie Black and Martin Prado were reinserted later in the game.
