Palms 5, Braves 4
The Palms jumped on the Braves early Saturday night. Really, early, as Martin Prado hit the 4th pitch of the game over the left field fence at his old stomping grounds in Atlanta. The Palms scored 2 more in the first after stringing together a few hits, and got a pair of solo homers from Ayoz Sadan and Coco Crisp. It was a good thing too, as in the 8th inning, Yunel Escobar hit a three run blast that brought the Braves to within 1, and the Palms failed to get a baserunner after the 4th inning. In addition to getting the win, Javier Vazquez got the first hit for a pitcher this season.
