The Palms through 100 games

The Palms are nearly through 2/3rds of the season, and are performing at a pace much better than was originally anticipated, thanks in no small part due to their strong bullpen and an improved rotation. The baseball trade deadline is only a couple of weeks away, and with the Palms clearly being contenders, the market has been curiously quiet. The two most tradeable prospects are Chris Korb and Kyle Blume, given their rookie status. Of course, Blume is the best pitcher on the staff this season, and the rotation is the weakest point of the team. With only some tweaks needing to be made, don't expect Korb to get moved either.
Miami has gone 17-4 in their last 21 games, the second major winning stretch of the season, and it has them back in position to reach the post season. They are 2 games back of the division leading Red Sox, and only in the 2nd spot in the Wild Card race by half a game. With 62 games left, they certainly aren't going to start counting their chickens yet, but the team is happy with how much improvement they have seen so far.
