Palms 2, Twins 1

Troy Munoz and Francisco Liriano had a pitchers duel in Miami tonight, with Munoz coming out on top for the first time of the season. Denard Span led the game off with a solo homerun, but Munoz and closer Buddy Carlyle combined to scatter only 6 more hits for the remainder of the game. Liriano, for the most part, had an even better game than Munoz, save for the 4th, when he loaded the bases to have Breck Smythe hit a 2 run single. That was all the Palms needed, and their streak is at 2 games.
