Palms 1, Twins 0

The Miami Palms managed only 6 runs in their series against the Minnesota Twins, but somehow managed to earn the sweep. For the third game in a row, the Palms earned an excellent pitching outing as Javier Vasquez, Felix Gonsales (who allowed a hit for the first time this season) and Buddy Carlyle combined to shut down the Twins. Billy Dupont drove in the Palms' only run with a first inning double, after which Nick Blackburn and the Twins shut down the Palms effectively as well. Nevertheless, the Palms have followed a sweep at the hands of Oakland with one of their own, allowing only 1 run for the series.
