Palms luck should turn around

Through 9 games on the season, things haven't been breaking well for the Palms. Only three Palms pitchers are presently out pacing their FIP, John Danks, who has a win despite already allowing 5 home runs, and Tim Byrdak and Felix Gonsales, who have given up 2 homers a piece, which is also less than desirable. All told, the rest of the staff has been keeping the ball in the yard and striking out batters at an excellent clip. The team FIP is 3.67, nearly a full run lower than the actual ERA. The culprit, as it often is, is a terrible BABIP. Lucas Harrell has seen nearly half of the balls in play behind him drop for hits (BaBIP against Harrell: .452), and most players who are scuffling right now, like Pete Otterloop, Keith Harding and Blake Johnston are afflicted by BaBIP's against of well over .300. Johnston's is the most frustrating case, certainly. His FIP is actually below 0, but his ERA is 4.50. There is also the unexplained and especially unlucky case of Kyle Blume, allowing a BABIP of .184, but his ERA is still a full run higher than his FIP.
Things will sort themselves out sooner rather than later, the Palms are certain of it. They just need better luck and better defense.
