A's 7, Palms 2

Blake Johnston was around the strike zone for his entire start, as he struck out a career high 11 through 8 innings of work. Unfortunately, because he was around the plate, he gave up home runs to Josh Donaldson (2 runs) and Yoenis Cespiedes (solo). Compounding matters was the titanic blast Derek Norris hit off of Felix Gonsales. The Palms are in the strange position of having hit 3 triples at this point of the season, but have failed to hit a ball out of the park so far. They hope to get win number one with Lucas Harrell on the mount tomorrow evening.
