Palms 8, Mariners 7

After a somewhat disastrous trip to Minnesota that saw the Palms fall to 2-3 after a home series victory, things looked tough in Miami against ace pitcher Felix Hernandez. It looked worse still after the Mariners batted around in the 6th and took a 7-0 lead. The Palms came back though, starting in the bottom of the 6th, with back to back homers from Frank Sohn and Martin Prado. Jaspero Gonzalez hit a three run blast an inning later after being stymied previously. In the bottom of the 9th, after the Palms relief corps held Seattle scoreless for 3 innings, Coco Crisp hit a single up the middle. On the first pitch of his at bat, new addition Jose Molina hit a home run over the left field fence for the walk off winner, bringing the Palms back to .500
