Palms 6, Tigers 5

The Palms jumped out to a 3-0 lead against Detroit, thanks in part to a Troy Tulowitzki home run. The Palms looked as though they were dominating the game, though when the Tigers batted around and scored 5 in the 7th, it appeared as though the Palms had blown too many chances, leaving the bases loaded twice. The Palms loaded the bases in the 9th, however, with Jaspero Gonzalez hitting a ground rule double to put Miami ahead for good.
