The Palms jumped out to a quick lead, thanks to 12 hits in the first three innings, easily one of Roy Halladay's worst outings in his career. Ayoz Sadan and Eddie Black each had a 2 run double in the first third of the game. The Palms got a quality start from Dallas Chastanet, while Dennis Sarfate pitched the final two innings to complete the shut out.
