Red Sox 3, Palms 2
The Palms recovered from their ugly outing the previous night, with Dave Balierough pitching a complete game. It was not enough, however, as the Red Sox, keyed by back to back solo homers in the 5th from Dustin Pedroia and David Ortiz. For the Palms, Troy Tulowitzki hit his first home run in a Miami uniform, a opposite field liner to Fenway's short porch in right.
