Orioles 5, Palms 1
The entire game hung on a couple of rough innings from Dave Balierough. He allowed two runs in the 2nd and a three run inning in the third, thanks to a three run homer by Gregg Zaun. That was all for Balierough, but the bullpen managed to pitch 6 strong innings without allowing another run. Of course, the offense was again ineffectual, particularly with runners in scoring position, leaving at least 1 runner on base in 8 of the 9 innings.
