Palms 4, A's 3
The Palms seemed to have lost the handle on this game as well, continuing a trend over the last couple of weeks. They held a 1-0 lead until the 6th inning, when the A's started clawing back, and took the lead on a 2 run home run from Matt Olson. Trevor Cahill held the shorthanded Palms pinned down until the 9th inning. Nick Markakis tied the game with a 2 run double, and then was driven home when Tony Abreu hit a triple. Brian Matusz finally settled in for a save, more good news on Memorial Day in Oakland.
