Palms 2, Astros 1

The Palms looked like their offensive momentum came home from Oakland with them, when they had three extra base hits in the 2nd inning, including a 2 run home run from Chris Korb, but Gerrit Cole locked the Palms down from that point forward, scattering 4 hits in a complete game effort. Manny Parra was even more effective, striking out 8 and scattering 5 hits in 8 innings and delivering a victory for the Palms at home.
