Will the AL East get 3 teams in the playoffs?

Miami has a record of 77-50 and is well in front of Tampa and Boston for the AL East lead. The Palms maintain a 4 game lead on the two divisional rivals. Even more impressively, those two teams have 2.5 game leads over the Oakland A's, which, if the season ended today, would mean that Tampa would play Boston for the right to play in the final postseason spot.
The Palms are done playing the Red Sox this season, but have one more series forthcoming against the Rays. Their schedule will leave chances for a postseason bid wide open.

Verdugo, Red Sox Pummel Palms in Series Opener

Alex Verdugo went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, and the Red Sox racked up 16 hits en route to a 7-1 win over the Miami Palms at Coca-Cola Palms Park. The loss snapped Miami’s four-game win streak and featured a forgettable debut for newly called-up reliever Allan Persons, who gave up three runs on five hits in a single inning of work. Boston wasted no time, tagging Palms starter Blake Johnston for three runs in the opening frame, thanks to a pair of RBI hits from Xander Bogaerts and Mitch Moreland.
