Palms 7, Orioles 6
Through 7 innings, the Palms staff, including Kevin Correia and Don Schoppe had shut the Orioles down. Schoppe was left in for a third inning of work, however, and allowed 5 batters to reach after getting the first out. Art McLoughlin came in and blew the game for sure, allowing Robert Andino to tie the game at 6 with a grand slam. Thankfully, Randy Winn hit the team's 3rd home run in the top of the 9th, and Manny Parra managed to return the Palms pitching to dominant, getting a quick save.
