Giants 3, Palms 0

 The Giants needed only Jeff Samardzija on Saturday evening. Not only did he pitch an efficient shut out of the Miami Palms, he was also a surprising source of offense. Samardzija hit an extremely rare home run, and did so with two runners on, accounting for every single run that was scored in the game, and preventing any more from scoring for the other side.
