Sohn busts his slump

Frank Sohn went almost a full month without hitting a home run, which is a troubling and surprising turn for a player who has hit nearly 40 home runs in a season in the prime of his career, and is still good for at least 20.

He did it in a big way against the Orioles on Sunday afternoon as well, waiting until the bases were loaded to get his big blast. Sohn has been good for doubles throughout the season, and didn't slump in that regard, but after a day off on Monday, he hopes that he can preserve his power stroke.
