Palms start strong in the second half

Miami has the benefit of a long homestand to start the second half of the season, but they were also confronted with matchups with the team with the best record in the American League, and the defending American League champion. Thanks to strong pitching, for the most part, the Palms were able to get out of the two series with a 4-2 record thus far since the break.
Miami is here to stay this season, comfortably out front in the AL East, and already thinking about a spot in the playoffs.
