Palms 3, Yankees 2
Even with Edwin Encarnacion out of he lineup, there was still some power from the first baseman on Sunday. After a taut 1-1 game through 7 1/2 innings, the Palms finally broke through to take the lead when Kelly Johnson hit a two run blast off of Luis Severino, driving in Frank Sohn, who had led off with a double. The Palms needed that extra win, as K-Rod nearly blew the save, allowing the Yankees to score once while stranding a pair on base.
