Blue Jays 4, Palms 2
The Palms and Jays had a tightly contested pitchers duel through most of the game. The Palms held a two run lead after Joe Mather hit his second home run in as many games in the 5th. The Blue Jays worked their way back against Don Schoppe who was in control for most of the game. The Blue Jays had tied the game by the time they were up in the bottom of the 9th. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, with the game poised for extra innings, Emilio Bonifacio took a 1-1 pitch from Schoppe and deposited it in the left field bleachers, securing the game and series for Toronto.
