June MVP: Javier Vazquez

Javier Vazquez had 5 starts in the month of June, and the most runs he allowed in any of them was three. He went deep into all of those starts as well, being pulled before the 8th inning only once, when the Palms opted for a pinch hitter in Colorado. Miami has been hitting all season long, but their season turned on the strong outings in june, led by Vazquez, the ace of the staff. He went 3-1 through the month, leading the Palms into playoff contention. He has struggled in July, but he will continue to be a key contributor as Miami tries to stay in contention for the final Wild Card spot.
