Rays 5, Palms 4

Despite a 4-4 night from Randy Winn and 3 solo home runs from the Palms, Miami was unable to overcome the Rays at home. The Rays got a two run homer from Casey Kotchman in the top of the 9th to put the Rays up by the same margin. Randy Winn, among his 4 hits, had two of the team's home runs and hit one of them in the 9th to pull it within 1, but it was not enough.
