Defensively, Korb is reliable at the hot corner. His quick reactions and strong arm give him the tools to handle the challenges of third base. While not flashy with the glove, he makes the routine plays and minimizes errors, which is critical for the Palms' infield stability.

Korb is looking to build on his success and further establish himself as a cornerstone of the lineup. "Last year was a good step for me, but there’s always room to improve," Korb said. "I want to cut down on strikeouts and continue driving the ball, especially with runners in scoring position."

One area of improvement Korb has focused on this offseason is cutting down on his 90 strikeouts from 2023. He’s been working on refining his approach with two strikes, aiming to put more balls in play and drive in additional runs.

Heading into 2024, Korb will remain a key cog in the Palms' offensive attack, anchoring the middle of the order with his power and consistent run production. If he can maintain his form from last season and cut down on strikeouts, he has the potential to be one of the top third basemen in the league.

Alex Verdugo went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, and the Red Sox racked up 16 hits en route to a 7-1 win over the Miami Palms at Coca-Cola Palms Park. The loss snapped Miami’s four-game win streak and featured a forgettable debut for newly called-up reliever Allan Persons, who gave up three runs on five hits in a single inning of work.
