Astros 8, Palms 2

 Miami scored twice in the first inning, and held the Astros at bay until the 5th inning, when Jose Altuve hit a three run home run and gave Houston a lead they would not relinquish. The Astros battered Chris Martin in the 7th to make the score look much worse than it was, but a failure to execute past the first inning means there is plenty of blame to spread around. The path doesn't get any easier, with a trip to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers coming next.
