Palms sitting on .500 since the break
The Palms have now hung out at .500 ever since the All Star Break, a total of 36 games, after dropping their most recent home series again the Boston Red Sox. Given the torrid pace that the Palms had at the beginning of the season, it's tough to see this as anything other than a slump.
The culprits, and the greatest slumpers, are not difficult to discern. but with so many players struggling at the plate, it is no small wonder that they are even sitting at .500. This bodes well for a late season renaissance, and perhaps a hard charge through the playoffs.
